NEVER burn a candle unattended - burn a candle within reach of children and pets - burn a candle close to flammables i.e. curtains and silk flowers - burn a candle on a surface where it could be knocked i.e. by an opening door (especially if you have anything hanging on the door) - extinguish a candle with water - burn a candle container completely dry - burn a candle in a container that is cracked - let objects fall into your candle i.e. match sticks & trimmed wick - place a candle on a radiator - do not light if dusty or candles has become contaminated by sprays i.e. hairspray, do not get wet |
