What is Energy Healing?

Channelling of energies through the healer to the patient. It re-energises and relaxes the patient to enable their own natural energy to deal with illness or injury in the best possible way. By directing the energy, usually through the hands, the healer supplements the patients’ own energy, to deal with stress at whatever level it’s needed and releases the body's own recuperative abilities to deal with the problem in the most effective way for that individual.

Healing can be given for any illness, stress or injury as a therapy, which is completely natural, has no side effects and is complementary to any other therapy.

It is unusual for healing not to be helpful in some way. Sometimes one treatment is sufficient, but often several are needed and the benefits emerge gradually. Healing often helps with the speed and extent of recovery from serious illness and major surgery and from the effects of treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

What is Distant Healing?

Distant healing is healing performed when the patient is not present. It is possible to transmit healing energies over any distance and this form of healing can be very effective. The patient may or may not be aware that this healing has taken place but can still benefit from it. 

If you would like us to send Distant Healing to someone (this includes animals) please email Distance Healing with their details.  You can tell us as much or as little as you wish; just their name would be fine.  We will then send them distant healing on a daily basis for at least three months. 

The Sunningdale Healing Centre.  SHC have an open evening each Thursday 7:45 – 9:00 p.m., at Sunningdale Village Hall, Church Road, Sunningdale, Ascot, Berkshire.  Anyone can come along for healing or just for a chat to see what they get up to and maybe observe a healing act in progress.  The SHC healers donate their time and travelling expenses, but they do have to pay rent so a donation to the centres funds would be very appreciated. This enables them to continue to share their gifts with all those in need. 

Healing is complementary to normal medical practice and not in place of it.

All SHC healers are members of the NFSH (National Federation of Spiritual Healers) and as such are bound by its Code of Conduct.
